These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the iOS application "Lullaby" (the "Service") provided by Andreality (the "Developer"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
2. Definitions
"Service" means the iOS application "Lullaby" and all its bundled extensions (DeviceActivityMonitor, ShieldConfiguration, ShieldAction, Widget).
"User" or "you" means any individual who downloads and uses the Service via the App Store.
"Premium Service" means additional features available through paid purchase.
"Subscription" means a paid plan that auto-renews on a monthly or yearly basis.
"Lifetime Access" means a one-time, non-consumable purchase that grants perpetual access to Premium features for as long as the Service is offered on the App Store.
"Screen Time API" means Apple's FamilyControls / DeviceActivity / ManagedSettings / ManagedSettingsUI frameworks.
3. Acceptance and Changes to Terms
These Terms become effective when you download and use the Service.
The Developer may update these Terms within the scope permitted by law. Material changes will be announced at least 7 days in advance (or 30 days in advance for changes that are unfavorable to Users) via in-app notice or App Store release notes.
If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you may stop using the Service and delete the app. If you continue to use the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms, you are deemed to have accepted the changes.
4. Service Description and System Requirements
The Developer provides the following features:
System requirements: iPhone running iOS 26.0 or later, signed in to the App Store with an Apple ID, and Screen Time (FamilyControls) permission granted.
Service features may change per the Developer's operational decisions, with prior notice.
The Service is a self-control tool for the User's own use on the User's own device, and is not a parental control tool for monitoring or restricting another person.
5. Paid Services — Subscriptions and Lifetime Access
Prices are displayed in your local currency on the App Store and may change due to exchange rates, taxes, or Apple Pricing Tier policies.
5.2 Billing, Auto-Renewal, and Cancellation (per Apple App Store)
Billing: All payments are processed through Apple App Store In-App Purchase and are charged to your Apple ID account.
Auto-Renewal: Your Subscription auto-renews at the same product and price unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Renewal Charge: The renewal fee is charged to your Apple ID account within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Cancellation: You can turn off auto-renewal at any time via [Settings] > [Apple ID] > [Subscriptions] on your iOS device. You retain Premium access through the end of the current paid period; auto-renewal stops thereafter.
Free Trial / Introductory Offer (if any): If a free trial or introductory price is offered, it converts automatically to the standard recurring price unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the trial period.
Price Changes: Subscription prices may change in accordance with Apple App Store policies or the Developer's decisions, with prior notice as required by Apple's policies.
5.3 Lifetime Access
Payment: Lifetime Access is a one-time purchase, offered as a Non-Consumable product on the App Store.
Validity Period: Lifetime Access remains valid for as long as the Service is offered on the App Store. In the event of full Service discontinuation, Section 7.2 applies.
Restore Purchases: You can restore Lifetime Access on other iOS devices signed in to the same Apple ID via the "Restore Purchases" button in the app.
5.4 Premium Benefits
Active Premium Users receive the following benefits:
Stronger blocking: The unlock challenge changes from a simple long-press to harder formats — sentence transcription, math problems, timer-endurance, or memory-sequence — making the block harder to bypass.
Full sleep history: Free users see only the most recent 7 days of sleep records, while Premium users can view their entire history.
Sleep insights: Premium users get access to an insights screen visualizing average sleep duration, blocking success rate, weekly trends, and other aggregated metrics.
Widgets: Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets are enabled.
The exact composition, wording, and visual treatment of each benefit may be adjusted as the Service evolves.
6. Refunds
All payments are processed according to Apple's App Store refund policies.
The Developer cannot process refunds for purchases made through the App Store.
Under the Korean Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce (Article 17), the right to withdraw subscription to digital content may be limited once the content is consumed; the Service is digital content delivered immediately upon purchase. Apple's refund policies in subsections 1–2 above apply independently of any statutory withdrawal right.
7. Service Changes and Discontinuation
The Developer may modify or discontinue all or part of the Service for reasons such as quality improvements, policy changes, or technical issues.
In case of permanent discontinuation of the entire Service, the Developer will provide at least 30 days' notice via in-app notice or App Store release notes. Any remaining Lifetime Access or unused Subscription period will be handled per Apple's refund policy.
Some features may be limited or modified due to iOS system updates, Screen Time API changes, App Store guideline changes, or User device settings, and such changes are beyond the Developer's responsibility.
8. User Obligations
You agree not to:
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or hack the Service.
Use the Service in abnormal ways that harm the Developer or third parties.
Violate applicable laws or infringe the rights of others.
Pay for or use the Service with an Apple ID not your own.
Make purchases as a minor without the consent of a legal guardian. Users under 18 must obtain prior consent from a legal guardian; purchases made without such consent may be subject to cancellation under applicable law.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Lullaby is a supplementary tool for improving sleep habits and is not a medical device. The Service does not provide and is not intended to substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment of sleep disorders, insomnia, mental health issues, or any other condition. If you have such concerns, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.
The Developer does not warrant that the blocking feature will work exactly as expected at all times, due to the technical limitations of the iOS Screen Time API, changes in Apple's policies, iOS system updates, or User device settings.
The Developer is not liable for service interruptions or malfunctions caused by force majeure, system failures, network failures, or illegal acts of third parties.
The blocking feature is not an alarm or wake-up tool. It may block notifications that are medically or otherwise important to you (e.g., medication reminders, emergency alerts). You are responsible for choosing which apps to block, and the Developer is not liable for the consequences of those choices.
10. Intellectual Property
All copyrights and other intellectual property rights in the Service and its content (text, images, icons, logos, audio, code, etc.) belong to the Developer.
You may not reproduce, transmit, publish, or distribute Service content without the Developer's prior written consent.
The Service uses third-party SDKs and frameworks (e.g., Apple Inc.); copyrights in those components belong to their respective owners.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
In case of a dispute between the Developer and a User, the parties shall first seek resolution through mutual negotiation.
If no agreement is reached, the competent court of first instance shall be determined according to the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
For Users residing outside Korea, this clause applies only to the extent it does not infringe consumer rights guaranteed by mandatory provisions of the User's local law.
